A combination of single and shared accommodation options are available for our patients. All rooms are modern and well equipped with an ensuite, television, radio and direct dialling long distance (STD), telephone.

The hospital is fully accredited by the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards and is also an accredited Baby Friendly Hospital.

Built on a single level surrounded by farmland, the hospital enjoys spectacular coastal views to Table Cape and Bass Strait. Our spacious lounge and waiting areas add to the relaxed and comfortable surroundings.

The hospital benefits from being co-located with North West Medical Centre, University of Tasmania Rural Clinical School and North West Regional Hospital (a public hospital). Where Intensive Care Unit facilities are needed, patients are transferred to this public hospital. Staff at North West Private also benefit by attending Education Programs run by the University of Tasmania Rural Clinical School.
